Kansas City Chiefs Personnel: Turning a New Leaf

If some former coaches, coordinators, and assistants of the Dallas Cowboys ever decide to have a reunion, they might as well do it in Kansas City.

Three first-year Chiefs assistants brought in by new coach Todd Haley have roots in Dallas, as does Haley himself. And don’t forget second-year offensive coordinator Chan Gailey, a holdover from Herm Edwards and Dallas’ head coach from 1998-1999.

All told, six coaches and coordinators spent time in Dallas between 1996 and 2006. So if the Cowboys of yesteryear wanted to catch up, Kansas City would seem a smart place to do it.
