New Additions Allow Bills to Run Wide Open Offense

The biggest benefit of the recent signing of Terrell Owens is that it allows offensive coordinator Turk Schonert to really open up the playbook. 

Last season, the Bills' offense was stagnant without to many deep pass plays.  It seemed like the screen pass was called more than any other pass play, which did not excite too many Bills fans. 

It also allowed opposing defenses to stack the box, limiting the space Pro-Bowl running back Marshawn Lynch had to break long runs. 

Schonert did not have the receivers on hand to open up the playbook and call pass plays over 20 yards.  He also wanted to lessen the strain on young quarterback Trent Edwards who was still learning the offense.&nbs...
