When you are a sixth round draft pick, the expectation are not high. For the West Texas A&M starter, playing a back up role is not a surprise either.

After spending two seasons as a understudy, Null became the starter of the Buffaloes. If you have never heard of West Texas A&M, this would most likely be because they play in the Division II NCAA Lonestar Conference.

Null, in two years, threw for over 9,000 yards and 89 touchdowns, an impressive total for most players.

However, as we have seen in the past, good players come from all over the NCAA. Even walk-ons can make impact.

Null will want to focus on one thing coming into training camp this summer. Survival.
