Philadelphia Eagles’ Best And Worst Players In The Last 30 Years

Here’s one man’s opinion of the best and the worst of the Eagles since 1980.

This is completely subjective, of course, and the criteria isn’t just who was the best or worst at each position. For example, Kenny Jackson wasn’t the worst wide receiver to suit up for the Eagles in the last 30 years, but considering where he was drafted—No. 4 overall in 1984—he ranks as one of the biggest busts the team has had over the last three decades.

The same holds true for defensive end Mike Mamula—he wasn’t that bad, but since coach Ray Rhodes made a big trade to move up to No. 7 overall in the 1995 draft (and passed on defensive tackle Warren Sapp), Mamula makes the all-bust list.
