Moving along nicely with this project, on we go with the Redskins first great QB after Sammy Baugh, and one of the people responsible for protecting Baugh in his hey-day.



No. 14—Eddie LeBaron, Quarterback (1952-1953; 1955-1956)
Taking over from a legend is never easy, but it can be done, and whilst LeBaron never tasted quite the success—either personally or as part of a team—he had a very productive career and overcame a lack of height and a war to do it.

In college LeBaron, like Baugh, was a quarterback, safety, and punter at the College of the Pacific. In 1949 he was an All-American and led his team to an undefeated season.
