In the NFL, very rarely does anything work out the way it's supposed to. The Miami Dolphins, a year removed from a horrendous 1-15 season, turned things around by going 11-5 while winning the AFC East. The New England Patriots would come back with a vengeance after losing Super Bowl XLII, but a season-ending injury to Tom Brady in Week 1 ended that dream.
