Tony Kornheiser's stint as a commentator on "Monday Night Football" mercifully came to an end when it was announced former coach Jon Gruden would be taking his place. 

For those of you who don't know him by his name, he was the one who made you mute the TV when he chimed in with celebrity gossip and pop culture references that made you feel like you were watching the E! network. 

Okay, now you know who I'm talking about.
