Bruins’ Defenseman Ward Expected to Play

Boston Bruins defenseman Aaron Ward is expected to play in tonight's Game Six of Boston's second-round series with the Carolina Hurricanes.

Ward was punched by Scott Walker in the closing minutes of the Bruins' 4-0 victory in Sunday's Game Five.  Ward was feared to have broken an orbital bone, but it appears that is not the case.

Walker, who was fined $2,500 for the punch, had previously stated that he believed an altercation was taking place between he and Ward.
