In watching the Carolina-Boston series unfold, one thing has become crystal clear.

The Bruins were ill-prepared to face the hungry and determined Hurricanes.

There has been much conjecture as to why the seemingly impenetrable shield of the mighty Bruins during the span of the 2008-09 regular season has now appeared to have disappeared entirely.
