Capitals’ Jose Theodore Shines, but Team Fades to Fourth Straight Loss

The woes of the Capitals continue as they were defeated tonight in a shootout against the New Jersey Devils. This loss marks the fourth straight for the Caps' after starting the season 2-0.

Tonight's loss at Verizon Center also marked the continuation of their inability to protect the lead, especially in the third period.  Again, the Caps were the first on the board tonight with Mike Green netting his first goal of the season nine minutes into the first. 

Mike Knuble upped the Caps' lead to two goals when he converted a beautiful cross-ice pass from Alex Ovechkin, five minutes after Green's tally.
