Carolina-New Jersey: Cardiac Canes Do It In Seven

It took 58 minutes for the Canes offense to get going but with 1:20 left in the game Jussi "The Juice" Jokinen scored his third career playoff goal to give the Canes a 3-3 tie.

With 30 seconds left a great pass off of the boards by Chad LaRose gave Eric Staal a scoring chance and the game winning goal as the Carolina Hurricanes upset the New Jersey Devils 4-3, winning in game seven and making Carolina history as they delivered their first ever game seven victory on the road in Newark, New Jersey.

With their victory, the Carolina Hurricanes will now face the Boston Bruins in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
