Detroit Red Wings are in the Hot Seat

Detroit Red Wings put on a very sloppy performance on their first power play, in Tuesday night’s game against the Anaheim Ducks, but killed off their own penalty quite readily. The Ducks turned over the puck several times in the first, but managed to get out of the period with no damage done. Anaheim out-shot the Red Wings 12-8 in the first. The indications were that the Ducks would do well. The second period opened with Detroit in the penalty box, and soon after they killed that one off, they took  a delay of game penalty, which resulted in Anaheim’s Ryan Getzlaf’ scoring the first goal of the game. The Red Wings appeared a little disorganized, but settled down midway in the period and had several scoring chance...
