The Flyers heard the sweet sound of silence this evening when the horn sounded at the Mellon arena in Pittsburgh, as they shutout the Penguins 3-0.

Overall, this was a game that a lot of fans around the country thought was in the bag for the Penguins. They're coming to their home building up three games to one, and the Flyers are going to come in and just go through the motions.

For all the people who are negative toward John Stevens, rethink your opinions. It's obvious this Flyers squad came out with a purpose and played with enthusiasm and heart. The Penguins played as if they thought the Flyers were come in and lay down for them.
