John Tavares: A Toronto Maple Leaf?

It's no surprise that Brian Burke will be busy this offseason.

Picking seventh overall for a second straight year, the Maple Leafs need a big change before September. But Burke has bigger thoughts than picking seventh — he wants young John Tavares of the London Knights.

The top two picks in this year's draft will be going to the New York Islanders and the Tampa Bay Lightning, respectively. The top two prospects (and in all likelihood, picks) will be centre John Tavares and denfenseman Victor Hedman from Modo Hockey in the Swedish Elite League.
