Ovechkin does it again! (Just as I’ve said before.) He shoots—he scores—sometimes from the most unrealistic vantage points. However, his two goals were not enough to give the Washington Capitals the victory in Saturday night’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
In the opening minutes of the game the puck never left the Penguins' end. It appeared as though the Capitals were on an extended power play, as Pittsburgh gave the puck away several times in the first period. Just as it was all Caps, Jordan Staal scored to put the Penguins ahead. Not to be undone, Ovie scored to tie the game one minute later.
