That may have been just one of the thoughts in Sidney Crosby's mind after finally scoring a goal in the Stanley Cup Finals.
He may have been thanking Evgeni Malkin for the pass. He may have been thanking Chris Osgood for the wide open net. He may have even been thanking the hockey God's who have seemed to stifle him with ever hit post and other bad break he has had this series.
Ultimately, he was thanking his critics.
For the naysayers who pronounced Crosby as obsolete in these finals and those who truly believe that he isn't the face of the NHL, Crosby's game-winning goal was a thing of beauty.
