Rangers’ Sean Avery Honored by Career Gear’s Second Chance at Life Event

In Sean Avery's exit interview at Madison Square Garden, after the New York Rangers lost Game Seven of their playoff series with the Washington Capitals, he told reporters his plan for the summer was to have more fun than you can imagine.

Since then, the Capitals have lost to the Penguins and Avery has been to Jamaica and back, gone to the New York City Ballet, given his suits away, and gone on radio to say he's looking forward to next season with coach John Tortorella, who challenged the team to show up in better shape after this summer.

The New York City Ballet held its spring gala at Lincoln Center's David H. Koch theatre  and Avery joined the mix of true balletomanes and newbies, according to Women's Wear Dail...
