Down 0-2 in the series, the Montreal Canadiens could not afford to lose game three at home against the Boston Bruins yesterday at the Bell centre.

Montreal started the game well and scored first this time around. Christopher Higgins scored his second goal of the series.

But Boston had all the answers in this game. The Bruins scored late in the first period and took the lead early into the second. It took Yannick Weber's very first NHL goal to lift the spirits in the Bell centre. The game was tied at two after two.
