Avery took four unnecessary penalties and a misconduct in Game Three, helping the Washington Capitals get back into the series. He seemed determined to give them every opportunity to come back in Game Four, taking two stupid penalties in the third period, one with three minutes to go and his teamates hanging on to a one goal lead.
