Simon Gagne Has Laser Eye Surgery, Other Notes

Philadelphia Flyers winger Simon Gagne had laser eye surgery this past Tuesday to correct his vision. Yesterday, Gagne, 29, said everything went perfect.

Ggane went through the procedure known as PRK which stands for photorefractive keratectomy. He said it was becoming annoying to wear contacts while playing hockey this season especially. Gagne said he has had contacts for three years or so.

Gagne went on to say that he was having issues with seeing things from a distance. The surgery he got required zero cutting should correct his vision problems and could see perfectly after a couple weeks according to the Flyer veteran.
