Surprise, Surprise: Rangers Blank Capitals for 2-0 Series Lead

Henrikl Lundqvist put on a one-man show Saturday afternoon and his stage was the Verizon Center. The New York Rangers goaltender saved 35 of 35 shots and Ryan Callahan provided the only goal of the game for a Rangers shutout win.

After plummeting out of playoff contention earlier this year, few expected the Rangers to make the playoffs, let alone win two straight games against a team like the Capitals.

The high-powered offense of the Capitals led by Alexander Ovechkin tagged the Rangers for three goals Wednesday night, but that was not enough as they fell 4-3.
