In the northern United States and the whole of Canada hockey is something that is greatly anticipated in the winter. As soon as the rinks freeze, hockey descends upon the nations and the fever returns to the natives.
Hockey is a beloved sport for many countless reasons, perhaps it’s Don Cherry’s ungodly assortment of suits on Hockey Night in Canada or maybe it’s the daily highlight reel stuffing from Pavel Datsyuk and Alexander Ovechkin. Hockey is great because it’s difficult to pin it down, there is just too much to love.
